Delete my account and my data

You can delete your TimaTontine account yourself, at any time, without writing to us.

From the app

Open Profile, then Delete my account. The app asks you to type the word DELETE (SUPPRIMER in French), and that is it.

If you no longer have access to the app

Write to legal@timatontine.fr from the email address on your account, or state the phone number linked to it. We answer within thirty days at the latest.

What is deleted

Your credentials are erased — email address, phone number, password, and the links to your Apple and Google accounts. Your name and photo are replaced by an anonymous label. Your devices are signed out immediately and your notification tokens are destroyed.

What remains

The tontines and fundraisers you took part in stay visible to their members for as long as the group exists, without your name. These are shared accounts: erasing your part would distort the other participants' history. Database backups still hold your data for thirty days, after which they are destroyed by rotation.

Before you delete

If you want to keep a copy of your data, export it first: Profile, then Export my data for a document to read, or Take my data with me for a file you can reuse elsewhere. After deletion you will no longer be able to reach it.
